Jasmin Tupy

As a surfer, scuba diver, hiker, and all around outdoor enthusiast, Jasmin is passionate about protecting our natural spaces. She works full-time as the Operations Manager for Heal the Ocean, a local Santa Barbara ocean conservation non-profit. She’s responsible for writing grants, managing  donor bases, campaigning, marketing, and leading events. Using these strengths, Jasmin supports content creation, creative direction, and marketing for Women in the Water.

Jasmin’s love for the ocean stems from visits to her Mom’s homeland in Okinawa, Japan, and stories of her Dad’s epic scuba diving adventures. Wanting to have adventures of her own, she became scuba certified upon graduating highschool, and she now jokes that surfing has taken over her life. Being from inland Northern California, Jasmin is thankful everyday that she has the privilege to live by the ocean. She passionately advocates for the inclusivity of everyone new to the ocean and water sports.
