Julie operated Stik N Stuk Creative Studios, a grassroots art and music studio, art co-op, event space, and print shop in Santa Barbara’s art district - the Funk Zone - and the birthplace of the

EcoStiks patch!

Julie holds Masters in International Law and Legal studies, a JD, and a multi-subject teaching credential. She has worked in legal operations for SaaS companies for over 20 years. She has served as a board member and volunteer at a number of local organizations in Santa Barbara, including the Surf Happens Foundation as well as the Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Birth Center.
