Lyndsey Kenefick
Co-Founder
A water enthusiast and passionate advocate for Women In the Water, Lyndsey was born in the picturesque landscapes of Hawaii. She was introduced to swimming by her Dad even before taking her first steps. This marked the beginning of a lifelong connection with the water – a relationship that has stood the test of time.
For Lyndsey, the water is more than a mere element; it's a constant companion akin to another parent. It has played the roles of supporter, guide, teacher, and cheerleader throughout her life's journey, accepting her in every state and providing a sense of comfort like no other. Beyond her deep connection with the water, Lyndsey is actively engaged in the Women In the Water initiative, where she channels her passion to empower and uplift womxn in aquatic pursuits. When not immersed in Women In the Water activities, you'll find her contributing to other various community events, participating in outdoor activities, or simply enjoying the company of her community.
With a background primarily in Event Operations, Lyndsey brings a wealth of experience from coordinating music festivals and yoga events across the continental U.S. Her expertise in organizing large-scale gatherings has seamlessly translated into her commitment to fostering a sense of community and empowerment within the Women In the Water sphere.
