Peyton Moore
Education

Peyton fell in love with the ocean as a kid on the east coast of Florida, and she's been drawn to wild water ever since. From open-water swimming and diving to a full year of daily ocean plunges, she finds her joy in the sea.
That deep connection inspired a lifelong commitment to ocean conservation. She studied marine science in South Carolina, worked on a whale-watching boat in Alaska, and has collaborated with fishing communities across the Pacific. Her career has taken her far and wide—from studying sea turtles in the Galápagos to helping shape more sustainable fisheries in Polynesia.
Peyton now calls California home, where she spends as much time as possible in and around the water—swimming, surfing, free diving, and spearfishing. She’s thrilled to be part of Women in the Water, supporting a community of strong, ocean-loving women who are leading the way in marine and environmental fields.
